The 21-year-old Musonda is a product of Chelsea's Academy, and has made seven appearances for the Blues first-team squad this term, scoring on his full debut against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup.

The Blues confirmed his loan move via a post on their website and tweet on their official Twitter account which reads: "Charly Musonda Jr has today joined Celtic on loan until the end of the 2018/19 season..."
In his most recent game, Musonda provided an excellent assist for Victor Moses’ goal in the 4-0 win at Brighton.
After that, Musonda impressed in an eye-catching display in the Checkatrade Trophy, where he netted a last-minute free-kick to beat Portsmouth, earning him a nomination for the competition’s Player of the Round.
Having signed a new contract with Chelsea until 2022, the Belgian Under-21 international will hope he makes the best of his Celtic loan so he can nurture ambition of being a regular in the Chelsea first team next term.
