Record pace from Juventus and Napoli

Juventus and Napoli are setting a record pace at the top of Serie A, with 119 points between them the highest tally since three points for a win.

Together they have amassed 119 points already, the highest tally for the top two since three points for a win was introduced in 1994-95.

The previous highest tally was in 2013-14 when Juve and Roma had 114 between them, with the Bianconeri on 60 points at this stage.

That year the Old Lady went on to get 102 points, a Serie A record, and both sides could well get into the high 90s on current form.

There is a 14 point gap between Juventus in second and Lazio in third, demonstrating the dominance of the top two this season.
