Coutinho delighted to score his first Barca goal & reach first final
Philippe Coutinho was the happiest person at the Mestalla after scoring his first goal for Barcelona as they beat Valencia 2-0 to reach the Copa del Rey final.
After the game, speaking to GOL TV, he said: "We're really happy to reach the final. For me, it's the first final and it's a very special and important moment. But there's a long way to go until the final."
The Brazilian added: "I have been trying to score since the first game I played [for the club] and I am happy to have scored, although the most important thing is that the team won the game and we leave here happy."
As for the final against Sevilla in April, Coutinho predicts "a special game but a difficult one, like all finals. But we have time to prepare for it."
He was also asked about his relationship with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi: "They have made me very welcome from the start. It means that little by little I can keep helping on the pitch."
