Giggs asks former Man United assistant Stuivenberg about joining his staff at Wales

Ryan Giggs has approached Louis van Gaal's former assistant Albert Stuivenberg about becoming part of his Wales staff.
Stuivenberg and Giggs struck up a good relationship through two years working together at Manchester United and the new Wales manager is weighing up a reunion with the Dutchman.
Giggs, who was Van Gaal's assistant at Old Trafford alongside Stuivenberg between 2014-16, is going through the process of assembling his backroom team and wants people he can rely on.
Stuivenberg, 47, is out of work after being sacked in December as manager of Belgian First Division club Genk.
Paul Scholes and Mike Phelan are under consideration, while Mikel Arteta, currently assistant to Pep Guardiola, has also been linked.
Giggs wants to make appointments soon ahead of Wales travelling to Nanning for the China Cup at the end of March. The 44-year-old said his support team will be a blend of Welsh and non-Welsh nationals.
The future of Osian Roberts, assistant to Chris Coleman, has yet to be decided.
