Man United 'join Liverpool and Bayern' in chase for £40m-rated Dortmund star Pulisic
Manchester United have joined Liverpool and Bayern Munich in the chase for Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic, according to reports in Germany.
There looks set to be a tug-of-war between the three powerhouse clubs this summer for the 19-year-old American playmaker, who is valued at £40m.
Pulisic is contracted to Dortmund until 2020 and the club will be desperate to keep hold of a player who regularly impresses in the Bundesliga.
Liverpool, who are managed by former Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp, remain the most likely to make a bid and have money to invest following the £145m sale of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.
But United have joined the list of suitors, according to Sport Bild, while Bayern have identified Pulisic as a long-term successor to Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, both 34.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc wants Pulisic to honour his contract through until 2020 and said: 'We are planning with him well beyond the summer.'
Since bursting onto the scene in the 2015-16 season, Pulisic has played 81 games for Dortmund and scored 11 times.
He also has nine goals in 20 appearances for the United States national side.
