The France international has faced criticism amid struggles at Santiago Bernabeu during the 2017-18 campaign and reportedly will be among those moved on at the end of the season.

Zivkovic is said to be a long-term target for the Gunners and the Serbian, who normally plays as a winger, shone in central midfield against Rio Ave.

Kluivert turns down Man Utd move

Ajax youngster Justin Kluivert has rejected the possibility of a move to Manchester United, according to quotes in Metro.

Reports suggested that United were willing to pay £10 million to sign the son of legendary Barcelona star Patrick.

"I have heard the rumours but I haven’t spoken to Mourinho," Justin Kluivert said. "A move to Manchester United wouldn’t make sense, for now."

Jose Mourinho says Manchester United won't buy a striker this summer after purchasing Alexis Sanchez in January.

“It’s bad for you because you like to have things to write and things to speculate especially in the summer, but I don’t want attacking players so don’t speak about attacking players coming here because nobody is coming here," he said.

"Juan Mata, Lukaku, Rashford, Martial, Alexis … I don’t want attacking players so for speculation in the summer you have to go to other areas, but for attacking players I am really happy."
