Neto calls Godin to wish him a speedy recovery

After their collision on Sunday night, Valencia goalkeeper Neto has contacted Diego Godin to wish him well following his surgery.

The Atletico Madrid man was forced to undergo an operation after losing three teeth in his clash with the former Fiorentina man.

Neto was quite shaken himself by the incident and contacted the Uruguayan to enquire after his health and wish him a speedy recovery.

It was a stray elbow from the goalkeeper as he attempted to punch the ball to safety which caught Godin and left him hospitalised on Sunday night.

After the game was finished, Neto immediately attempted to find the Atletico defender and after learning he had been taken to hospital, did everything possible to find a way of contacting him.
