Isco proves Zidane wrong as he came on as a substitute for Real Madrid against Levante

Having spent a spell on the sidelines of late, Isco proved Zinedine Zidane wrong as he came on as a substitute for Real Madrid against Levante.
His goal showed the fans what he can do and the playmaker is now back on the menu as a potential alternative to the regular first choice of BBC, who flattered to deceive at the Estadio Ciutat de Valencia.
Cristiano Ronaldo was anonymous, Gareth Bale was invisible and whilst Karim Benzema impressed in the first half, he didn't produce anything to cheer about other than an assist for Isco in the second.
Isco's strike was not enough to earn a win for Real Madrid, and the team's dominance and superiority was not reflected at the scoreboard at any time.
However, it did give Isco the opportunity to show what he could do, something that has not been easy given that BBC have become a fixture in Zidane's selections, even against one of LaLiga's weakest opponents.
The ex-Malaga man was the first to be sacrificed by the coach but on Saturday he once again made his case for inclusion.

The same debate as always

Bale made way for the Spanish international and Madrid returned to the same team that won the Champions League final in Cardiff in a 4-3-3, but for now BBC, which he broke up, is more about big names than big performances.
Ronaldo has been hit by a strange curse, Bale only dares to gamble at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and Benzema has never been a prolific goal scorer.
Beyond his talent, Isco added freshness to the attack and it was certainly sufficient to reopen the debate of whether Zidane should pick Isco or BBC.
