He started the Mainframe Film and Media Institute, using it to churn out classics such as Saworoide, Arugba, Koseegbe, Oleku, Agogo Eewo, Oluwa Lo Nile, Thunderbolt and more recently, Dazzling Mirage and Maami. He is going further to train interested filmmakers in the art of Digital Photography and Cinematography every day from Monday, June 18 to Friday, June 22 in the city of Abeokuta where his institute is located.
The MFMI was instituted to afford budding filmmakers and interested filmmakers the opportunity to learn at the feet of the masters of the game in other to help with the quality of production Nollywood turn out yearly. The June training which will be facilitated fully by Tunde Kelani himself has been dedicated to Digital Photography and Cinematography while other training such Post Production and Digital Imaging, Acting, Directing and others comes up in July, August and September respectively.
Other facilitators who will join Tunde Kelani in the coming months based on the training involved are Steve Sodiya, Ropo Ewenla and Niji Akanni.
Registration is currently ongoing for the June Digital Photography and Cinematography training with Tunde Kelani as the instructor and the price has been pegged at One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100 000).
