Dele Momodu, his
Yesterday, respected magazine publisher, Dele Momodu shared the photo above from his recent trip to Ibadan in Oyo State and he captioned it, 'I'm always happy to visit my dear friend of two decades MR OLUSOLA ADU a very dutiful newspaper vendor in Ibadan... Our love is deep'.

Within minutes, social media lit up with many people accusing Dele Momodu of neglecting his friend of 20-years and only showing him off on social media to score cheap humility points.

And trust Dele Momodu to defend himself against social media trolls.

See all the reactions below....
I have a friend who is a newspaper vendor in Iwo Road Ibadan. His name is Mike. We’ve been friends for decades. When next I see him, I will take a picture with him and post here so that some of you can run mad.
I’m not surprised at the responses I’m seeing under this thread. He has a friend that is “poor”. So what? What makes you all think the man wants to stop selling newspapers on the street? What makes you think @DeleMomodu has not given him millions? What’s wrong with you people?
It would be the height of stupidity to tell what you do for your friends. I posted the picture of my friend, identified with him openly, regardless of status, and so be it... Pls join me in supporting him and hundreds of my other struggling friends in different places...
I remember Chief MKO Abiola saying one of the reasons he went into politics was bec his money couldn't change as many lives as he would have wished and so wanted to redistribute common wealth to reach as many as possible, and I don't have .0001 percent of his money...
